Studies of form and texture
This section features two A2 charcoal drawings created during my time in Art School for a project themed “Body Parts.” The first depicts a detailed study of a neck on grey-toned Canson paper, while the second represents a bust drawn on a paper I hand-colored with coffee to achieve a warm brown background. Through these works, I explored anatomy, contrast, and texture using charcoal’s expressive range to capture depth, light, and the subtleties of the human form.
